Approval Authority NSAI
GreenKar TS is a Technical Service appointed by the Irish type approval Authority NSAI National Standards Authority of Ireland
Thanks to such acknowledgement, GreenKar TS carries out services aimed at the achievement of type approvals with e24* mark of:
- Motor vehicles (cars, buses, lorries) and their trailers – according to Directive 2007/46/EC (EU Regulation 2018/858)
- Agricultural and forestry tractors – according to (EU) Regulation 167/2013
- Two or three-wheel motor vehicles – according to (EU) Regulation 168/2013
- Devices, technical systems and units – according to UN/ECE Regulations
- The Technical Service, by virtue of accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17020, is defined as type B (Framework Directive classification).
GreenKar TS follows the whole type approval process at a technical level, from receiving the manufacturer’s request to delivery of the type approval certificate, taking care of all communication with NSAI Authority.
GreenKar TS qualified personnel is able to carry out the conformity of production checks (COP) at the Manufacturers’, as provided for by the Framework Directive for type approved products.

Accredited according to
GreenKar TS Inspection Body is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17020 “Conformity assessment – Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection” and performs inspections of test activities, carried out by Testing Bodies and Laboratories, relevant to road vehicles and devices intended for them.
Such accreditation guarantees the technical competence of the Inspection Body and the quality of the applied management system.

Accredited according to
GreenKar TS Laboratory is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” and is equipped for performing tests on road vehicles and devices intended for them. The tests are performed at the Manufacturer’s plants or on other suitable sites, according to test methods defined in the Regulations.
Such accreditation guarantees the Laboratory’s technical competence and reliability of test results.
